Pipe bags, BagPipe bags, Pipe bags… We have talked about it a lot those weeks because they occupy a big part of our time in the workshop, but we do not forget the bombardes!
It’s a series of bombardes in B flat and G with 1, 2 or even 3 keys that we are about to finish.
B flat bombardes with natural horn
If the B flat are all in African Blackwood, this time they have the particularity of having their ferrules in natural horn, and not in imitation ivory. A finish that gives them an undeniable character trait, with colors and reflections that we love when we turn the horn!
The are currently making the keys: drillings, soldering, polishing, the silver bath, etc…! – which lead to the assembly and the final result
Des bombardes en Sol encore disponibles
As for the bombards in G, the first series just started! But two 1-key models are still looking for owners. Both have their horn rings (when we tell you that we like to work with this noble material!), But the first is in African Blackwood while the other is in tinted boxwood.
A new series will be produced again in the coming weeks for those who have not been fast enough
Botuha reeds
The instruments being delivered with reeds on, and the concerts and festoù-noz are back again !!
Jorj is working a lot with the manufacture of reeds: mainly bombards, but also binioù.
